Kyocera Introduces New Sustainable Inkjet Textile Printer
 
Kyocera Corporation announces the launch of the FOREARTH roll-to-roll inkjet textile printer.
It is an all-in-one printing system that uses new patented inks, pretreatment fluids and finishes that are sequentially applied to the material by an inkjet printhead.

The FOREARTH printing system eliminates the textile pre- and post-treatment processes required for traditional ink printing and reduces water consumption when printing textiles by 99%.

Furthermore, this new printing solution helps to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions as it does not require large equipment for pre- and post-processing processes.

The printer can be equipped with 18 Kyocera inkjet print heads with ink circulation function to print 8 colors (CMYK+4 special colors) at a resolution of 600×600 dpi. Print widths up to 1800mm and productivity 250m2/h in standard mode.

The company will exhibit the printer in Italy in June.
